We are proud to release Exago BI v2023.4.3!

Functionality Updates

As of this release, CData drivers are no longer available for use in Exago BI products. Use alternative methods of connecting to a database or web service.

  • You must remove any CData dll files in your installer path to continue to use Exago BI.
  • With this removal, the following databases are not currently supported:
    • Elasticsearch
    • Google BigQuery
    • MongoDB
    • Redshift
    • Snowflake

Issues Fixed

  • Fixed issue in Advanced Reports - Resizing the page to a certain size causes the formatting ribbon at the top of the page to completely re order itself.
  • Fixed issue with NGINX Loadbalancer setup while using reverse proxy.
  • Fixed issue in PDF (Snapshot and chained report) options while editing the scheduled report.
  • Fixed PostgreSQL issue.
  • Fixed issues to display user defined Messages instead of the entire stack trace message in Exago Server Events.
  • Fixed "Collapse Row" issue in advanced reports.
  • Fixed issue in Chart Exporting in Exago.

Issues Fixed

  • Exporting Dashboard as PDF (Snapshot) is showing blank in v2021.2.13.131.
  • Issue with duplicate values in prompting filter dropdown field.
  • Cell-based charts are breaking with conditional formatting.
  • Charts not rendering across the page.
  • Running SUM does not appear to be calculating correctly.
  • Chained Report error in Exago v2023.1.
  • Newest version 2023.2.1.5 of Exago sends parameter display instead of value to SQL.
  • Object Reference not set to an instance of an object.
  • Parameter not picking up correct value in 2023.3.1.1 Exago.
  • Parameters For Dashboard Reports throw errors when a user attempts to select a value in Exago 2023.3.1.1.
  • Advanced Reports in Exago v2023.2.1.5 shows incorrect values in HTML view.
  • 2023.3.1 Saving changes on any existing ExpressView that is tied to a Scheduled report throws an error every time.

New Feature

Ability to see more details and configure message content in failed scheduled report email notification

Configure message content in failed scheduled report email notification

A report admin can configure message content for a failed scheduler notification email so the end user has more details about the failed schedule.

  • A new setting is created in admin console for adding any additional content in case ‘Configure Failed Email Notifications’ setting is turned ON.

    • The new setting is a free text field.

Issues Fixed

  • [Advanced Report Designer] Changing Report-Level Parameters breaks the wrDesignToolbarStatusText

    Expected Behavior

    The status should change, to '*Modified (Last saved just now)'.
    Any additional changes made to the report would also change this status.exago-23-4-002.png

  • Cross source joins with custom SQL objects throw SQL syntax errors in Exago.
